Description:
For leaders to be effective in leading their organizations it is essential to develop and hold to shared principles and guidelines for decision making and priority setting.  This course will introduce the basics of decision making and invite your leaders to develop a shared set of decision making guidelines/principles that will be used for making critical decisions with and across their various organizations.

  • Methods to gather inputs and hear the voices of all members of a team/organization
  • Using organizational values to set priorities and guide the decision making process
  • Developing an organization specific set of decision making guidelines
  • Using the RASCI Chart to clarify roles, responsibilities and accountability in putting decisions into action (a good project management tool)
  • Establishing ownership for action, accountability and checkpoints for follow through on critical decisions
