Six Sigma Black Belt Onsite Program
Six Sigma Black Belt Training
Black Belts are typically assigned full-time project responsibility. They plan and conduct projects, act as team leaders, and link with the management team.
Black Belt training is broken into two parts. Weeks One and Two begin with an overview of the what’s and why’s of Six Sigma. They provide an in-depth understanding of each step in the Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC) methodology and the associated analysis tools. Participants also learn problem-solving, team leadership, and project management skills.
Weeks Three and Four provide an understanding of advanced statistics, statistical software, and analytical tools. (Black Belts in some organizations may not require the advanced statistics and statistical tools.) The program combines lecture, class exercises, case studies and work on individual improvement projects.
Six Sigma is an organized approach to design, improve, and manage business processes. It involves the application of statistical methods and analysis tools to improve operational performance, quality (as defined by the customer), and profitability. Six Sigma methodologies have led to breakthrough performance in countless organizations.
