Presenting, Planning, and Delivering Virtual Presentation Training

In response, this three-hour on-line seminar was specifically designed to teach the best practices and skills that will increase your confidence and success when presenting in virtual environments.
Learn how to adjust your presentation content, build interaction in, create a presentation "idea map," anticipate technical issues, and modify your communications delivery to fit virtual settings. Understand the three roles you must play to present well when you can't see your audience and they can't see you. Gain specific strategies to help you overcome the challenges of virtual presenting and build the skills to leverage the advantages of this increasingly used communications medium.
Participants learn how to:
- Decide what to include in a virtual presentation.
- Convey ideas simply, clearly and powerfully.
- Use visuals to convey a message.
- Develop an "idea map" to keep on track.
- Use interactive software features.
- Keep the audience listening.
- Get the audience talking.
- Use voice to keep attention and make points.
- Prepare the audience and yourself.
Interactive design
This on-line virtual session is informative and interactive. You will practice the skills with a presentation developed by your organization. You'll learn from your own session experiences, as well as from your colleagues. Prepare to participate activity and have some fun as well. Participant pre-work helps focus the session on the areas of most interest and need. The three hours include at least a half hour of open Q&A.
