The Art of Powerful Leadership Conversations: A Toolset for Innovation, Action and Dialogue
The primary tool for people to get their tasks done is to manage their relationships and conversations effectively. It has been estimated that leaders spend from 63-69 percent of their time in conversation. Developing conversational proficiency enables a leader to act as a model for his/her team and to set the tone and mood for the rest of their organization. Leaders' or managers' abilities to manage their own moods; recognize their mental models and assertions; listen to the inspirations and concerns of others; speak so that others will listen; and make and manage their agreements has enormous impacts on the emotions, attitudes, actions and influence of others.
In this one-day workshop, your leaders will be introduced to four practice fields of dialogue, which deliver increasing levels of capacity for inspired and innovative work and working relationships:

- Generative dialogue that taps the brilliance, creative intelligence and wisdom of people working together to discover and bring forth breakthroughs in innovation and discovery.
By focusing on conversational competencies and dialogue for thinking together, your leaders will also learn to recognize and engage in multiple types of conversation including:
