of assessing individuals and creating customized solutions to
meet personal and specific needs in the following areas:
An employee meets with an expert for a 1-hour assessment. After
the meeting, the expert develops a learning plan which includes
an overview, learning objectives, scope, and investment.
Assessment subjects include:
- Accent Reduction
- Grammatical Accuracy and Writing Style
- Oral Communication Style
After participating in the 2.5-hour
Communication Assessment Profile, participants receive a
development plan based on an evaluation of their strengths and
weaknesses in oral and written communication. Assessment
Components include:
- Oral interview
- Short oral presentation
- Multiple-choice grammar test
- Test for comprehension of rapidly spoken
English
- Test for comprehension of complicated
instructions
- Thorough evaluation of a writing sample
- Self-assessment questionnaire
- Questionnaire completed by the participant’s
manager to obtain his or her perspective on the participant’s
communication skills (optional)
