Retaining Top Talent
Targeting Employees and Individual Contributors
A companion program to Retaining Top Talent, LSA's management workshop for reducing attrition, this half-day workshop focuses on the individual contributor's role in creating a work environment that fosters individual and organizational success and, by natural extension, employee commitment and retention.
The program encourages participants to see themselves as investors in the company, setting a context of mutual cooperation for mutual gain. Participants identify the retention-related factors most motivating to them, assess which factors are and are not working, and emerge from the workshop ready to discuss a specific plan of action with their manager. (Prior participation by company managers in the Retaining Top Talent workshop is recommended.)
Participant Outcomes:
- A sense of ownership as an investor in the company and in themselves
- Awareness of the value of partnering with the company for mutual success
- Identification of the retention factors that have the most impact on their personal motivation and commitment to the company
- Specific strategies and actions for positively impacting all areas that are important to them, including those that need improvement
- Prepared to discuss their action plan with their manager
As with our Retaining Top Talent program, participant materials can be customized to include organization-specific information, tools, forms, language, and processes.
