Course Description:
The Retention Consultant Certification Program is a one-day certification program that provides you with the skills, tools and ability to act as a Retention Consultant to Line Managers for the purpose of developing on-target retention plans for the High-Value Talent on their teams.  The certification covers:

• The latest research on internal and external retention factors within your control that promote employee retention.
• How to identify the High-Value Talent in the organization.
• How to conduct an attrition risk assessment for High-Value Talent on the team.
• How to consult with line managers in the development of both individual and team retention plans.
• Tools for use with line managers on career development and planning.
• How to train & coach managers to conduct appropriate employee retention & career development discussions.
• How to train & coach managers to uncover gaps between what is important to High-Value Talent and what they actually experience on the job.

Participants leave with their own comprehensive Retention Consultant Toolkit and materials to implement with up to five line managers.  The content is based upon our proven Retaining Top Talent Workshop.

Learning Objectives:
Participants learn how to:

1. Develop managers who are accountable for managing the retention factors within their sphere of control.
2. Identify High-Value Talent who are at the highest risk of defecting, and specific actions for retaining them.
3. Develop organization-specific strategies, behaviors and actions for both the company and managers for achieving retention goals.
